Quilt As You Go "Fun To Be Square

Take squares, learn to quilt them, then join them with our special technique. You will learn a “Quilt as you Go” technique that will make large quilt projects just as easy as straight stitching.
It's Ok to be square, in fact this is a great class to learn to quilt one square at a time and then sew them together. Watch the quilt grow as you add blocks square by square. All levels of machine quilting experience are welcome
Bring your machine, walking foot, free motion foot, 4 squares at least 10" in size, 4 squares Hobbs batting and coordinating backing that are slightly larger than the top squares by about 2 inches on each side. You will also need to have 8 sashing strips cut 1& 1/2" wide by wof (width of fabric)
Bring a Spool of Signature Variegated Thread and a bobbin would with that thread. You will also want Topstitch 90 needles.

Easy Reversible 6 HOUR Quilt

Start with a center square, panel, block or “log” and learn the process of adding the top and the bottom and the batting to make the reversible quilt. Learn to finish the quilt in one day or work at home to make the quilt as large as you wish.

Betty has a cute pattern to make a very soft floor coverlet in the shape of a frog. You can create a boy or girl frog. Betty will show samples and make suggestions on simple appliques as you personalize and sew the coverlet that is about 36” x 24” in size.
Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.
For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed
