Twelve Days of Christmas Club

Take one class at $15.00 each or sign up for all 5 at $50.00 before August 6

Open toe applique foot, regular presser foot, walking & free motion quilting foot with be needed later
Fabric for the project:

THESE Threads will be needed
Invisible by Sulky- clear for light colored fabric and dark for dark fabric
Decorative 40 wt thread for each color of applique fabric that you are using
Do you want to learn to do applique, finish this Twelve Days of Christmas Project that you started a few years back, begin the Quilt project that will be taught or just be inspired by an applique artist.

August 6                12 Days Aprons & the basic background blocks for the True Love Quilt
Machine with all accessories to work needed for every class
Twelve Days of Christmas book by Nancy Halvorsen- these are in stock
Open toe applique foot, regular presser foot, walking & free motion quilting foot with be needed later
Fabric for the project:
Class #1 One yard of apron fabric and a lining of one yard we will be making the apron and Fabric for appliques- either the holly leaf or the pear, pattern is provided. Fabric for numbers and a background. Look at the number blocks on the back of the book and the number blocks on the quilt. You will make one of these.

Sept. 3                    Pear Runner and Quilt Blocks for the True Love Quilt or pillows
You will learn to make 3 Dimensional and fusible applique items for the individual blocks used in the quilt or on the pillows Machine with all accessories to work needed for every class
Twelve Days of Christmas book by Nancy Halvorsen- these are in stock
1/4" foot, regular presser foot, free motion quilting foot with be needed
Fabric for the project:
Class #2 Fabric Pack for Pear tablerunner or 1/6 yard of fabric for each of 6 pears and 1/6 yd for each of 5 different leaves.
Matching thread, Pellon 911FF interfacing about 1 yard or what is in the package

Oct 1 Pillow and Quilt Block
You will make the Santa Quilt Block for a pillow or for the quilt. You will also learn to make the Pillow with a button back. Everything that you have brought before machine, feet, book, left over interfacing and fusible web, thread, + your buttonhole foot
Fabric: Assorted fabric for the block. You could purchase the 4 month sets that are available and be making the quilt. Otherwise select fabric for the appliques. You will need 22" for the back and 3 buttons. Remember your buttonhole foot.
Nov. 5 Quilt as you Go
Learn to quilt rows or small wall hangings Bring a finished applique block or group of blocks. You will need the backing, batting, thread and accessories that we have discussed in the previous class
Dec. 10 Blocks and Settings
Whether you are making blocks for the quilt or making quilt hangers or pillows this class is about finishing the projects by Christmas. We will learn to bind the wall hangings, put fancy ruffles on pillows, general finishing techniques
Be prepared to learn binidng and finishing on some project. You will be given the supply sheet at the previous class.

Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you receive a class confirmation form and supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees
THERE IS NO REFUND ON CLASSES WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR SPACE TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE CALL US IF THIS HAPPENS SO THAT WE CAN MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE ROLL FOR CLASS.
