NEISD Kids Beginners Sewing               4 days         8 hours for each class

Class Fee is collected by NEISD.  Classes are conducted at Creative Sewing Center

A KIT FEE of $35.00 will be collected at Creative Sewing Center before the first class from each student.  The Kit Fee is for fabric used in the class.  Students will be expected to provide their own scissors, pins, seam ripper and markers.

Child must be 8 years or older to be enrolled in this class.  This is a beginner class for the student who wishes to learn to use a sewing machine and sew beginner projects.  Brother Project Runway Machines are provided for each student in the class by Creative Sewing Center.  The student will be taught basic sewing skills on a sewing machine.  These skills can be transferred to a home machine during their leisure.  Projects to be completed in the class consist of a pin cushion, small travel pillow (the pillow will be provided in the kit, and a lined tote bag. 

Brother Project Runway Machines are provided, please do not bring machines from home for this class.

 

ADULT Begin to Sew
4 days with 2 hours each day
Wednesday           June 16, June 23, June 30, July 7                10-12

This 4 day program will familiarize the student with a sewing machine & tools for sewing.  The projects will be a pin cushion, a pillowcase and a tote bag with pocket.  Brother Project Runway Machines will be provided if the student does not have their own machine.  Please call to reserve a machine.  Should the ADULT sewing student bring their own machine please be sure that it is clean & in good working order. Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you download the supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees
THERE IS NO REFUND ON CLASSES WITH NATIONAL TEACHERS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOU CAN GIVE YOUR SPACE TO SOMEONE ELSE. PLEASE CALL US IF THIS HAPPENS SO THAT WE CAN MAKE AN ADJUSTMENT TO THE ROLL FOR CLASS.
