Brother Sewing and Embroidery Classes held at Creative Sewing Center including Machine Mastery classes
You will need these items for most class. Some classes are sewing only and will require special accessories:
For embroidery classes you will need tmplates and hoops for your machine –the large hoop & med. Lg. with placement templates, for most lessons.
Several pieces of plain fabric to fit the hoops, with medium weight stabilizer cut for each.
Embroidery threads --a Basic Color set would include
dark, medium, & light - toned threads of all the main colors,
plus white and black.
Bobbin thread, extra bobbins
Sewing tools : marking pen or chalk, Scissors, embroidery nippers,

Mastery #3 Free to Brother (QC1000, QC2000, NV1500D, NV2500D, NV2800D, NV4000, NV4500, and NV6000) purchased at Creative Sewing Center.
For all other Brother machines $30.00 if purchased elsewhere .
Quilting The use of the walking foot, quilting feet including the Bernina Stitch Regulator (BSR), basic stippling, every day free motion, information on batting, threads, needles and optional techniques.
Mastery #4 Free to Brother machines (NV2500D, NV2800D, NV4000, NV4500, and NV6000) purchased at Creative Sewing Center. For all other Brother machines the fee of $30.00 with payment at the time of registration.Set up Screen, Memory, Safety Features, Double & Wing Needles Stitch sampler, alphabets, types of mirror images and memory specifically designed for these machines. Double needle, wing needle exercises for heirloom laces and Entredeaux Mastery #5 Free to Brother machines (NV2800D, NV4000 updated, NV4500, and NV6000) purchased at Creative Sewing Center.
For all other Brother machines $30.00 if purchased elsewhere
Directional Stitches, Mending, Couching over cords, Bobbin Work Class for machines that have directional feed dog capabilities, and some have extra accessories for unusual techniques

Continuous Embroidery

FREE .pes Design provided for the class Continuous embroidery is a more advanced technique that is simplified using the Duetta and the Quattro machines. Every Brother machine owner is invited to learn on their machine
Photos & Embroidery
Tue. Oct. 5 2:00-5:00 $17.50
This class is open to all machines in the Brother lineup with a 5” x 7” hoop. Photo and FREE .pes design will be provided. A special demo will be provided on the Photo feature exclusive to the Quattro while you are doing the embroidery
Circular Stitching
Tue. Nov. 2 2:00-5:00 $15.00
The circular attachment is useable on all the NX and Inno-vis machines. Half circles, full circles, Heirloom hems, you will learn them all in this exciting class on your circular attachment.
Each class may require a specialty hoop, or specialty accessories, or a machine that sews 5” x 7”. You may pay and observe the class if you do not wish to bring your Brother machine

Basic Sewing Kit- Bring to classes marked with a scissor symbol:
scissors, pins, washout marking pens for both light and dark fabrics, seam ripper, sewing gauge, machine needles, and bobbins. There are specific supplies needed for some classes. If you have any questions Call 344-0791
BRING A MEMORY STICK TO CLASS if your machine will use a memory stick otherwise the design will come from your machine.
Class Registration Policy
Payment is due at registration. After registering, make sure you write down your class on a calendar and download the supply sheet. Supplies & fabric are extra unless stated. Babies, family members or friends are not permitted in class.
Refund policy
There are no refunds on national teachers. If you can not make the class please find a substitute. We will assume that you are the one coming to class unless otherwise notified. Let us know who your substitute is or give them your registration form.
For our in store classes the refund policy is: Should a student cancel a class, refunds are available if requested ONE WEEK BEFORE THE FIRST CLASS. There will be a $5.00 administrative fee applied to each class fee refunded. No refunds can be given once a class or club has begun, no refunds will be given on kit fees.
In the event that a class must be cancelled due to insufficient enrollment, individuals who registered for that class will be notified and a full refund will be mailed. 210-344-0791
